GUIDES

Like you we have a passion for adventure, nature and the great outdoors. All our guides have a minimum 10 yrs bush experience and have acquired knowledge and skills that only comes from spending hours and hours in the wilderness.

Exploring wild places is what we love and what we specialise in. As well as holding various NZ mountain safety council qualifications, our guides are also active NZ Search and Rescue members.

Each guide possesses a minimum relevant 1st aid qualification and has gone through the Adventure Walks DOC approved risk management training. We pride ourselves on being sensitive to the environment, with stringent no trace policies. Many of the guides have degrees in Biology, Environmental Science and Botany and are selected for their proven dedication to clients entertainment and safety,as well as a knowledge and passion for the wilds of NZ.

On all trips a first Aid kit is carried along with Ebirp and radio.
